Michael P. Zagarella, passed away unexpectedly, on July 21, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on June 28, 1973, Mike was a beacon of warmth and joy in the lives of all who knew him.
A proud 1991 graduate of Cherokee High School, Mike's passion for technology led him to a fruitful career in IT. Professionally working with Jefferson Hospital systems, Mike played a role in transitioning patient information from paper to digital platforms. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Stanley/Black & Decker, in Ft. Worth TX where he continued to excel in his field. He met and made lifelong friends throughout his working career.
Mike's love for his family was boundless. He was loved greatly by his parents, Mary (nee Rudi) and Anthony Zagarella. He shared a special bond with his siblings; his sister, Kathy Cella, and her husband, the late Guy Cella, and his brother Anthony Zagarella. His nephews, Guy and Mason Cella, will remember their uncle as a source of endless support and fun. Mike was also a beloved nephew to his aunts and uncles, the late Joanne Minniti (the late Fortunato), Anthony Rudi (the late Catherine), the late Angelo Rudi (Hope Rudi), Josephine Sabasino (Carmen), and Tina Zagarella-Reid (Kevin). He is lovingly survived by many friends and his cousins, who he was very close to as they were more like brothers and sisters to him. His favorite cat, Frankie, will miss him dearly.
A die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, Mike reveled in the team's two Super Bowl victories, celebrating each triumph with the same passion he brought to every aspect of his life. His love for music and concerts was contagious, and he often shared these experiences with friends and family, especially his brother. Although Texas had become his home, his heart remained in New Jersey, where he was known for his friendly disposition and big heart. Mike was the life of the party! He loved hanging out with friends was known for throwing a great BBQ complete with his famous burgers!
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation Friday August 8, 2025 from 9-11:15am at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South at Evesham Road, Marlton.
