Michele Lee Dunham, nee DeMoss, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Aledo, Texas. Born on November 5, 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas, Michele was a graduate of Paschal High School and Texas Tech University. She was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend known for her kind, intelligent, and witty nature. She was a lover of the outdoors and a dedicated educator. She spent 27 years impacting the lives of countless students throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and Conroe.
Her passion for teaching and her deep affection for nature were paralleled only by her love of her family.
She is survived by her parents, Marilyn and Dean DeMoss; her son, Charles Holland von Rosenberg and wife, Katy; her daughter, Mallory Dee von Rosenberg and partner, Steven Molina; her son, Jacob Dean Dunham, and his father, Chet Dunham; her brother, Michael DeMoss and wife, Jennifer; her niece, Landree DeMoss; and her nephew, Logan DeMoss.
Michele was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Charlie” von Rosenberg; grandparents, Perry Mallory, Mabel Root Mallory, Arthur DeMoss, and Ida Boston DeMoss; and many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas 76086 on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
A service to celebrate Michele’s life will be held at Aledo United Methodist Church, 100 Pecan Dr., Aledo, Texas 76008, on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Following the celebration of life service, a reception will be held at the home of Dean and Marilyn DeMoss, 109 River Crest Ct., Aledo, Texas 76008.
Her legacy as a loving mother, an affectionate daughter, a ceaselessly devoted friend, and kindhearted teacher will live on through the many lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
