Mildred Aileen Isaacson, 94, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2023 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on August 24, 1928 in Jefffersonville, IN daughter of the late Lee and Bessie Louise Farmer. She attended schools in Indiana and later was employed as a Notary Public in Indiana. In 1966 Mildred married Robert Isaacson in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mildred volunteered at Goodwill in Shawano for many years. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Green Valley for 52 years. Mildred loved candy and hummingbirds. Survivors include one son: Daniel (Fiance: Linda) Isaacson, Brooksville, FL; grandchildren: Sara (Fiance: Tyler) Isaacson, Annandale, VA, Ian Isaacson, Spring Hill, FL, Chad (Jessica) Boivin, Nekoosa, Danielle (Nate) Bunnell, Wausau, Lisa (Nick) Gile, Nekoosa; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Boivin, St. Paul, MN, Maxwell Boivin, Madison, Brady, Owen, Griffin Bunnell, Wausau, Paige Van Meter, Nekoosa, and Finley Gile, Nekoosa; and her cat Sweet Pea. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Becky Boivin and Lisa Rickard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Bethel Lutheran Church, N6955 County Rd Bb, Cecil, WI 54111, from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM (Noon). Officiating at the service will be Rev. Keith Sorlie with burial to take place at Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett. The Kuehl Funeral Home, 108 E Main St Gillett, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
