Minnie Anderson

Minnie (Scott) Anderson, of Mustang, passed away on July 13, 2024, where she is now safely home in Jesus' arms. She was born on March 31, 1938, in Binger, OK to William Gilbert and Tona Willie (Hale) Scott.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Larry Anderson; her children, Dr. Rick Visor and Valorie, of Guthrie, OK, Randy Visor and Cindy of Yukon, Russell Visor of OKC, Renee (Visor) Baker of Hickory Creek, Texas, Terry Visor of Newcastle, Johnny Anderson of OKC, Terry Anderson and Jeff of Waxhaw, NC. Minnie was loved by her 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren who brought joy to her life. She is also survived by her ever-loving sister Kathy Duffy and Patrick of Moore; brother Bobby Scott and Mary of Mustang; loving sister in law Carolyn Curtis of Safford, AZ; as well as more than 50 nieces and nephews.
Minnie loved spending time with Larry as they were fortunate to travel around the world; they visited Australia, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, and took many cruises to the Caribbean. The trip of their lifetime was to Israel where they renewed their wedding vows in the Gardens of the Tomb (one of the holiest places on Earth), renewed their baptism in the Jordan River, prayed at the Wailing Wall, and walked on the ground around the Temple where David and Jesus would have walked.
Minnie was also a longtime member of 30 years of the Crossroads Mustang Church.
Public visitation will take place on Thursday, July 18th, from 5-8pm at McNeil's Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday, July 19th, at 10am at the First Baptist Church in Mustang. Burial will follow at Mustang Cemetery.
