Mitchelll Mitch Brian Prok, age 43, of St. Louis, Missouri and formerly of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2022. Mitch was born on November 19, 1978 in Parma, Ohio to the late Mitchell Robert Prok and Carol Prok. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force and received the intelligence training that led to his career while there. Mitch was incredibly focused and driven as an analyst with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. He was an avid OSU and Cleveland sports fan and was known for how giving and generous he was. His focus was only redirected when his daughter, Kennedie, was born and he became an absolutely dedicated and devoted father.
Mitch is survived by his beloved daughter, Kennedie M. Prok; his sister, Jill (Terri Telesz) Prok; his grandmother, June Prok; his uncles, John (Terrie) Posta and Marty Prok; his stepmother, Bernice Prok; and Kennedie s mother, Robin Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and his faithful companion, Diesel.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256, immediately followed by a memorial service at Noon at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
