Mitchell L. "Mickey" Labrozzi, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
He was born in Erie, on June 10, 1931, the son of the late Dominick and Amelia (DiPalo) Labrozzi.
Mickey attended Academy High School and served as a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the American Sterilizer Company for over 28 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Sterilizer Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for over 55 years and loved to play cards, and travel, especially with his wife Beverly. Family was very important to him.
Besides his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Mae in 2012; his brothers, James Labrozzi, Joseph W. Labrozzi, Dominich Labrozzi, Frank J. Labrozzi, John D. Labrozzi, and Anthony C. Labrozzi; and one sister, Mary C. Labrozzi.
He is survived by three sons, David M. Labrozzi and wife Melanie of Chalfont, PA, Craig S. Labrozzi and wife Jennifer of NC, and Glenn D. Labrozzi and wife Beth of Erie; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, Jacob, Emmaleigh, William, Daniel, Kyle and Kaitlyn; four great-grandchildren, Alexander, Caden, Tessa, and Claire. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on the family at the Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 West 26 Street, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11 until 1 and are invited to the funeral service following at 1. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Erie, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
