Gueydan, La - A Funeral Service officiated by Reverend Stephen Sahayaraj Irudayasamy will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan honoring the life of Myrna Faye Faulk Hernandez, 72, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan on Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the services at 10:00 AM.
She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Faulk, Danny Faulk, Kyle Richard, Myron Faulk, Jr, Justin Faulk, and Lee Faulk.
She is survived by her son, Shane Faulk and his wife, Courtney of Kaplan; two granddaughters, Brielle Faulk and Lyra Faulk of Kaplan; six siblings, Norman Guidry, Mary Faulk, Danny Faulk, Donny Faulk, Myron Faulk, Sr., and Lee Faulk; nieces and nephews, Angela Boehm, Nakia Faulk, Jeremy Faulk, Eric Faulk, Christi Vincent, Josh Guidry, Myron Faulk, Jr., Ashley Pinson, Amber Faulk, Danielle Lindsay, Taylor Faulk, Justin Faulk, and Kelsey Faulk; great nieces and nephews, Alex, Abigail, and Allyson Pinson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Hernandez; two brother, Charles Guidry and Blayne Dale Faulk; her parents, Willis Faulk and the former Velva Guidry; and one nephew, Ronnie Guidry.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan (337) 536-6124.
