Myron Fuller Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 10, 2024.
Myron L Fuller- 87 Years Young
October 2, 1935- April 14, 2024
Myron passed away peacefully on April 14 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born October 2, 1935 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He grew up on the family farm in CDA. He loved working the farm, fishing, hunting and playing on Lake Coeur d'Alene.
Myron graduated from CDA High School. He enlisted and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He often talked about his military service and all the places he had been.
When Myron returned from his military service, he met and married Barbara. They had two daughters and lived in Spokane. Myron worked various jobs throughout Spokane and Spokane Valley. He was a bus driver, ambulance medic/driver and VA hospital tech. He worked many years at Kaiser Aluminum and managed several apartment complexes throughout the area.
Dad had many hobbies and activities he loved! He enjoyed going to the Spokane Indians games as a season ticket holder for over 15 years. He loved participating with the Spokane Eagles and the Spokane Interstate Fair. He volunteered endless hours at several elementary schools in the valley helping children learn to read. He was very involved with the Inland Empire Steam and Gas Buffs. He served as president for several years, and treasured working on the tractor pulls, homestead cooking and knot tying events at the fair. He donated the tractor from the farm and loved sharing his knowledge with others.
He is survived by two daughters Karla Fuller (Bill Thomason) of Twin Falls, Idaho and Dianne (Ray) Bauer of Deer Park, WA; two grand children Mick (Beth) Bauer and Allison (Ian) Mitchell; and five great grand children of Spokane and Deer Park respectively.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, two nieces and many friends.
Dad never met a person he couldn't talk to. He enjoyed visiting with others and sharing stories with everyone. There were some very special friends Dad met later in life that especially lit up his day when they called or visited. Thank you Patrick and Areeya, Kim and Ron, Bob and Jackie, Bev and Angie. This was especially important during this past year as his health deteriorated. We would also like to thank Royal Park Care Center and their wonderful staff that cared for Dad.
Dad's ashes were spread on Lake CDA as he requested on June 22, 2024. He hopes to see us all again in heaven one day.
