Nan Nop, 76, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the devoted wife of Savoeung Phok, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage, and a life marked by resilience, faith, and deep familial love.

Born in Pursat, Cambodia, Nan was a survivor of the Cambodian genocide. In 1984, she and her family immigrated to the United States, first settling in the Bronx, New York, before making Lowell their home in 1995. Nan dedicated her life to raising her family and creating a nurturing home as a homemaker.

A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Princeton Boulevard in Lowell, Nan was known for her deep spirituality and active participation in church life. She found great joy in prayer, church activities, and spending time with her loved ones. Nan especially delighted in sharing meals and trying new foods, which became a cherished way to bring her family together.

Nan was the heart and soul of her family. She is survived by her husband, Savoeung Phok; two sons, Phoeung Phok of Lowell and Saphat Phok of Chelmsford; and three daughters, Laura Phok, Alicia Phok, and Lisa Phok, all of Lowell. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Buntaine Phok.

Nan leaves behind 23 cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom she deeply loved and guided with unwavering kindness, faith, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her family and the many lives she touched.

Nan's visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at 12PM – 2:30PM followed by a Mormon dedication service at Dolan Funeral Home. Procession to Glory Buddhist Temple 24 Cambridge St. Lowell, MA 01851 for continue visitation and Buddhist service from 5pm to 8PM. Burial Service is on Sat., August 23, 2025 at 8:30AM.
