Nancy Elaine Cruz, age 80, of Britton, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 16, 1943, in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Harvey and Ruth (Warschessky) Force. After graduating from Adrian High School in 1957, Nancy began her career at Ford Motor Company in Saline.
In 1997, Nancy married Jimmy Cruz in Toledo, Ohio. They spent over 33 wonderful years together traveling and just enjoying each other's presence. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Everyone would stop to take pictures of the various flowers in her yard. She would even give gardening advice to anyone who asked. Most importantly, Nancy loved her family. She was a kind and loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
To cherish her memory, Nancy leaves her loving husband, Jim; children: Todd (Tracy) Tracy, Troy Tracy, April Clark, Calvin (Jill) Cruz, and Sanya (Daniel) Wallace; 16 grandchildren: Shanna, Savanna, Rusty, Dustin, Shantel, Danielle, Dakota, Dillion, Courtney, Alexis, Alanna (Cameron), Marri, Beverly, Tommy Jr., Vanessa, and Davon; many great grandchildren; and a sister, Peg Chesher.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one son, Tom Tracy; a granddaughter, Amanda Tracy; and three siblings, Vivian, Lawrence, and Clarence.
Visitation will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 12:00 pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00 pm.
Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made to Ebeid Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
