Nancy Loback, 74, of Clinton, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Alden Meadow Park, Clinton.
She was born on January 11, 1950, in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Verland and Betty (Evans) Thompson. Nancy was a 1969 Clinton High School graduate. She married Larry Loback and he predeceased her in 2002.
Nancy was formerly employed as a In Home Care Giver for the handicapped. She enjoyed taking the group of people she took care of to the Special Olympics. Nancy loved being a grandma and was affectionately known as "gambling grandma." She cherished being able to attend her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities. Nancy enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards with her family.
Survivors include her children, Sonja (John) Stuart, Robert Brandt, and Stacy (Lester) Oldenburg; grandchildren, Nikki Hughes, Zolton Loback, Remmington Loback, Garrett Brandt, Alarra Brandt, Carol (Cameron) Simon, and Bobby (Shelby) Oldenburg; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Verlinda (John) Weber, Vickie (Ray) Welsh, and Jan (Bob) Maly; and sister-in-law, Tammi Thompson.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents; brother, Rick Thompson; granddaughter, Opal Oldenburg; and grandson, Tyler Geddes.
A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held at a later date.
