Nancy Loch passed away November 7th 2024; the cause was most likely that she couldn't stand the idea of having Trump as her president for another four years. Nancy was born February 27th 1958 in Orefield PA as an only child. She adored her parents. She leaves behind one cat, her best friend/partner in crime Julie (whom she had many adventures with) and many other friends of which she was the unofficial spokesman of telling it like it is.
Nancy worked at the Lehigh Valley Animal Hospital for which she was the hospital manager, followed by working at the Alburtis Animal Hospital and then choosing to make a life change and pursue one of her passions..Italian cheese. Nancy worked in the cheese department at Wegmans were she became a connoisseur of cheese. In the game of life there is only so much to learn about cheese, she decided to conquer a new challenge and become an administrative assistant for Lehigh Valley Hospice. This is where Nancy gained her "weekend work family".
Nancy at times could be "a negative Nancy" but patients would never know they weren't talking to an angel when they called in for help. She had an amazing ability to calm anyone in a crisis down with her sweet "phone voice". Among being wonderful at her job she also was a shining star at sending tipsy snaps to her friends.
Nancy loved her bourbon and flamingos; she also loved animals more than she loved people. Nancy wholeheartedly believed the Mark Twain quote "If man could be crossed with cat, it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat". She also loved zipping around in her Mazda, so if you saw a flash and a middle finger whiz by you, you probably met Nancy.
Nancy with all of her anxiety and quirks will be sorely missed, we are sure she is dancing somewhere near her beloved pets on the rainbow bridge, most likely with her pants off.

I worked w both Nancy & Julie as both animal hospitals.. Nancy was kind , always laughing , taught me so much... we all loved our precious cats and Margo.. I remember when Nancy got the job at wegmans..she told me how much she loved it. Occasionally I'd stop in to see her... I really enjoyed my time working w these ladies & the bonds we shared.
Im so sorry to hear of this-

Nancy and I go way back to early elementary school days. I loved spending time with her exploring Camp Horseshoe in Orefield where she lived (her father was caretaker). She always loved animals and back then it was her collies. Although we did not stay close over the years, it didn't matter. Whenever I would see her we were still friends and could pick up as though only a day had passed since we last spoke. Nancy was one of the nicest people I've ever know.
We shall meet again my friend!

Nancy´s smooth, reassuring voice was part of why people kept coming back with their pets to Alburtis Animal Hospital when she anchored the reception desk there for years.

Our condolences to Nancy's loved ones. I remember Nancy as a professional at the animal hospital and having a good time away from it. Happy that we were able to share some of those good times together. Rest in peace!

I'm deeply saddened upon hearing of Nancy's passing. She was a close friend of mine, especially in high school and awhile afterwards. We had countless crazy adventures. So many memories. Sadly, we lost touch after her parents passed away. Although that was a very long time ago, I still think of her fondly and miss her.

Sounds like she was a real, professional cheese cutter.
