Nancy A. Lovrak

Nancy A. Lovrak (75) of Rittman, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a brief battle with cancer.
Nancy was born on September 13, 1949, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late John and Ruth (Huth) Maslak. She graduated in 1967 from Rittman High School.
She married Pete Lovrak on November 12, 1977, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Rittman. Pete preceded her in death on March 14, 2022.
Nancy was employed by United Airlines as a flight attendant based in San Francisco, where she left her heart. She was later employed by J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville and retired in 2014.
Nancy was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was extremely talented with cross stitch, cooking, and loved to travel. She loved going to Switzerland to visit her Goddaughter Alissa and family. Holden Beach NC was a favorite for her and Pete. She also loved to host family and friends at her home for holidays and other special events. Nancy never missed her Sunday dinners at Que Pasa in Orrville with her work friends.
Surviving is her brother, Dan Maslak; aunt, Celia Maslak; brother-in-law, Steven (Debra) Lovrak; niece, Claire (Dustin) Funderburg; nephews, Shane (Tanya) Breuers and Ryan Maslak; Goddaughter, Alissa (Gaston) Della Casa and Vida and Marina Della Casa of Switzerland, special friends, Mary Hessidence, Linda (Geoff) Pyle, Lori Hilton, Tanya (Paul) Williford and Jade and Larry and Pam Craig.
In addition to her husband and parents she also was preceded in death by her Uncle Carl Maslak.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with Fr. Peter Morris officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at St. Anne Cemetery in Sterling.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
