Nancy Buck Ramirez, 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born to the late Melvin and Anne Buck on January 8, 1944.
Nancy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She became a marksman level shooter on the University team during her collegiate years.
She took pride in her work as Head of the Chemistry Department and the Blood Bank at Good Samaritan Hospital for 42 years. This is where she met her beloved husband, Pedro Ramirez, Jr., whom she cherished as the love of her life.
Nancy was an avid skier who loved to travel, enjoyed reading, playing cards with her Bridge club and was devoted to spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving sister Suzanne Buck Kohls and sisters-in-law Lupe Schearer and Isabelle Seyler and brothers-in-law Frank Ramirez and Joe Ramirez.
Her lasting memory will live on in Pedro's children and grandchildren, Pedro (Jennifer) Ramirez, John and Lauren; Julie (David) Czulewicz and in her nieces, nephews and their children, Jenny Heichel, Sabrina and Maddie Grosse; Greg Kohls, Ellen Kramer (Brendan Keenan), Emmanuel Keenan; Steve (Betsy) Kohls, Sam and Libby; Melanie (Rich) Wittich; Sarah (Jake) Roberts, Abby, Tim and Emily; Stephanie (Jesse) Brody, Jenna, Leah and Reece; and Bill (Abby) Simpson, Finn and Sawyer.
Nancy was preceded in death by her dear brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Victoria Buck and angelic great, great niece Rosalind (Lindy) Keenan.
A public visitation will be held from 10:00 - 10:30 am, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am on Tuesday October 21, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 6531 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45230
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
