Nicholas Macrogianis, 85, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, January 29, 2018. Son of the late Elias and Bessie (Magou) Macrogianis, he was born and raised in Stoughton. He graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1951 and Boston University. Nick was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a clerk at Mason Neilan in Norwood for over 30 years before retiring in 1994. Mr. Macrogianis was the brother of Emanuel Macrogianis and Marion Perry both of Stoughton and the late Evelyn Macrogianis. A Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St. (Rt. 138) Stoughton on Friday, February 2 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick's memory may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth St., NW, Washington, DC 20006.

Hi Manny,
So sorry to hear of Nick's passing. I'll always remember us deciding the fate of the world in the early evening in front of Nardozzi's drug store. I hope you're doing well under these circumstances. I think of you (and Johnny Rusilko and Les Gay and John Philip Sousa, etc., etc.,) so often these days.
