Nicholas M. “Nick” Sader
Age 26 of Aurora, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
Born July 20, 1995 in Chicago, IL, Nick was a son of Kathie M. Schlitter and Stan Sader.
He was raised in the Crest Hill area and was a graduate of Lockport Township High School.
Nick was an apprentice carpenter and a huge advocate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #10.
He enjoyed carpentry, playing Xbox and watching football.
Nick bragged and loved to tell stories about each of his tattoos and how they represented his passions and great love of each of his family members.
He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Cubs, and a horror movie buff. Everyone who knew Nick, knows that he enjoyed smoking grape swisher sweet cigars.
When you met with him, he always shook your hand and gave you a hug.
Nick's love and kindness will be imprinted in our hearts forever.
Survivors include his parents; Kathie (Rich) Schlitter and Stan (Joanne Tuiaana) Sader, brothers; Mike Sader and Brandon Sader, grandmothers; Marie (the late Louis) Sineni and Mary (the late Frank) Sader. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his canine companion; Gracie, also survive.
Nick was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Louis J. Sineni and Frank Sader.
A visitation for Nick will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. John Regan officiating.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
Those who attend the visitation, are invited to bring your favorite photo with Nick to post on a memory board in the chapel.
