Nicholas (Nic) Wayne Smart was born August 8, 1986. He passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2025.
Preceded in death by: Grandparents, Rev. James A. & Earlene Smart and Rev. Edward W. & Ruby Burchfield Sr.; and Brother, G. Duane Smart.
Survived by: Parents, Rev. Gary W. & Traci Smart; Daughter, Krimsen Smart; Sisters, Ammie Peters and Shayla Smart; plus many other family members and friends.
Nic graduated from Oak Grove High School where he participated in the String Band & Quartet and played Football. He was very talented, beginning at a young age, to sing and play music on the drums and the guitar. He used that talent in churches, nursing homes, and singing groups growing up. Later in life, he entertained many people by playing the guitar and singing. In his spare time, he LOVED to FISH and Hunt! Nic was gifted with an outgoing personality, loved to help people, and never met a stranger. He was a simple, Country Boy. What you saw was what you got. Nic will be missed by so many!
A graveside service will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mud Creek Baptist Church Cemetery located at 9437 Mud Creek Church Rd, Adger, AL 35006. Rev. Bruce Smart and Pastor Diane Humphries officiating.
