Norman Hamby

Norman Newton Hamby,79, joined the heavenly realm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, due to a brain hemorrhage.
He was born December 20, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Osia Marcum Hamby Davidson; his father, Clarence Hamby; sister, Violet Hamby Small; brother, Ralph Hamby; his wife, Sandra Ann Gray; his grandson, Tyler Dane Minton; and son in law, Lee G. Mattice III.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and resided in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He loved his family & fishing.
He is survived by his brother, Orvil Hamby (Kirby); sister, Lavena Hamby Miller; son, Bryan Hamby (Donna); daughter, Rhonda Hamby Minton Mattice (Darryl); and grandson, Andrew Minton (Kristin).
Services and celebration of life will be held at Ralph Robinson funeral home, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on Monday, August 14, 2023, 3:00-4:00 p.m. Graveside services' will follow at Providence cemetery, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arkansas Hospice, an organization that advocates for families to bring loved one's home for their final days. Without their assistance we could not have provided dad with his final wishes.
