Norman L. Runser, 66, of Greene Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 13, 2023. He was born in Erie on March 12, 1957 a son of the late Wilbur J. and Yvonne J. Sherwood Runser.
Norman graduated from Seneca High School and worked for Seaway Windows, Windows Unlimited, McCreary Roofing, and Thermo-Twin Windows. He was a member of the St. Boniface Ushers Club and the Ft. LeBoeuf American Legion Post #285. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal detecting, classic cars, gardening and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Docter.
Survivors include, Roseanne Allgeier Runser; his son, Noah Runser (JoAllie) of Greene Twp.; his daughter, Sarah Runser (Ben) of Greene Twp.; three brothers, Raymond Runser (Kris) of Greene Twp., Robert Runser of Frankin Center, PA, and Paul Runser (Peg) of Florida; one sister, Marion Rater (Randy) of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews including Matt Runser.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
