"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day." – 2 Timothy 4:7–8 With deep love and gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Olga Cecilia Padrón, who entered eternal rest on September 1, 2025, at the age of 71. Olga was born on August 17, 1954, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of Felipe Vinicio Padrón and Olga Columbina Padrón De Los Santos. She is survived by her sister Rosa Maria Palomo Padrón and her husband Don Palomo, and by her brother Angél Vinicio Padrón and his wife Jane Padrón. Olga's role in the family extended far beyond that of a sister. She was a devoted and loving aunt to Donia Palomo Slack and her husband Chris, parents to Aiden and Connor; Sara Palomo Paul and her husband David, parents to Joseph and Ava Marie; Ariel Christine Denny and her husband Chris, parents to Vinicio; and Pilar Felicia Padrón Parnell and her husband Scott, parents to Charlene and George. Each of them, and especially their children, were deeply blessed by Olga's unconditional love, wisdom, and joyful presence. Her life was marked by selflessness, empathy, and an unwavering devotion to God. She cared tenderly for her parents in their final years, becoming the backbone of her family and a pillar of strength for all who knew her. Her greatest joy was to bring people closer to God, offering prayers, guidance, and love to anyone who reached out. She never judged, only encouraged, and her presence made others feel peace. She was so special that even those who had just met her, especially the elderly and children, were naturally drawn to her light. Animals, too, felt safe and loved in her presence. Her laughter, kindness, and warmth reflected the Holy Spirit shining through her, and she became a spiritual mother to more than a dozen godchildren who were blessed by her guidance and love. Her family takes comfort in knowing that when she entered eternal life, she was welcomed with the words: "Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:23). Funeral arrangements will be held at Jardín Memorial in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where Olga will be laid to rest beside her beloved mother and father. Service details will be announced once finalized. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida. ________________________________________________________________________________ "He peleado la buena batalla, he terminado la carrera, he guardado la fe.
