Ora Michael Obituary
Ora Pauline “Polly” Michael passed away on August 5. 2025. Born on March 4, 1927, in King William County to the late Willie Frank Powell and Ora Atkinson Powell.
Polly was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church. During her working career, she worked on electronics in airplanes for Martin Marietta. Polly liked to bake, cook for others, quilting, sewing, traveling and growing her flowers and gardens.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Emil Krevanick and Charles Herbert Michael; brother and sister-in-law, Frazier and Gladys Powell.
Polly is survived by her daughter, Saundra James and partner Vern Winter; granddaughters, Sarah Bukowski and husband David Bukowski, Yvonne Vitilio and husband, David Vitilio; great-grandchildren, Norah Bukowski, David Bukoski Jr., David Vitilio Jr, Owen Vitilio and Amelia Vitilio; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 21, 2025, at Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery with Ronnie Russel officiating.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda is assisting the family.
