In Loving Memory of Owen James Williams
Owen James Williams, age 20, of
Tallahassee, FL, departed this world and entered the kingdom of Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on March 30, 2025, following a tragic accident near Colquitt, GA.
Born on August 18, 2004, in St. Mary's, GA, Owen's life was a beautiful reflection of kindness, joy, and unwavering faith. He graduated from Florida High in
Tallahassee, FL, in 2022 and was attending Tallahassee State College. He had recently been accepted into the Sports Management program at Florida State University, set to begin in Fall 2025-a testament to his dedication and passion for his future. He had aspirations for real estate investing and possibly becoming a military fighter pilot.
Owen was a social and active young man who found deep meaning in his faith, family, friendships, and community. He was such a great friend to many and friendly to people he just met. He was devoted to his church and Bible study group, where he built some of his closest friendships, united in their love for the Lord. A true Seminole at heart, he carried his enthusiasm for Florida State University with pride. Owen cherished time spent with his family and was known for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him. His sweet spirit, outgoing nature, and hardworking devotion as a man of God will forever be remembered.
His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his memory will remain a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Owen is survived by his Mother, Nanelle Fuller and his brother Cole Williams, of
Tallahassee, FL; his Dad, Michael Williams, step-mom, Michelle Williams "Mama-Chelle", and brother, Joshua Williams, of Melbourne, FL.
He is survived by his grandmothers: Leslie Robinson "Mimi", of Tallahassee; Gwen Williams "Maw-Maw" of Iron City, GA; his grandmothers and grandfathers: Barbara and Frank Santoro "Meme and Papa Frank" of Thomasville, GA, Linda and Vern Thomas "Gamma and Boomba", of Melbourne, and Bob and Carol Brettel "Papa Bob and LaLa", of Thomasville.
Owen is survived by his Aunts/Uncles: Jon and Michelle White; Cindy Cain, Nikki Smith, Rob Smith, and Tom Smith; Ashley Dieckman and her husband David with son Grayson, and Randi Sellers with daughters Katelyn and Alivia and fiancé Joshua Smith; Stephen and Suzanne Moss, Mike and Valda Roberts and their son Jon Michael, Mike and Kim Corey, Robert and Ashlund Edwards and their son Flip, Harry and Heather White, and Danny and Dee White; Tom and Roxanne Jennings.
Survived by his Great Aunts/Uncles: Judy White "Granny", Jackie Parker; Gene and Brenda Hughes, Pee-Wee and Sherry Hughes, and Russell and Debra McNeal; Tommy Stratford and wife Betty and Jim and his wife Sonya Stratford.

A private Celebration of Life honoring Owen James Williams will take place on April 18, 2025, in Tallahassee, with Pastor Chuck Fryson officiating.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Jon and Michelle White, Gene and Brenda Hughes, Tara White, Tori and Ray Taylor, as well as the dedicated safety and law enforcement personnel and the turkey hunter who heard the crash and stepped in to help on that fateful morning. Your kindness and support will always be remembered.
