Pamela Jean Easthom

Pamela Jean Easthom, aged 73, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, in Cadiz, Ohio. She was born on April 6, 1952, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and her life journey spanned a vibrant tapestry of love, friendship, and dedication.
Pamela was the cherished daughter of the late Jean Mabel Mayhugh and Albert Emerson Mayhugh. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Easthom; her brother, Bud Mayhugh; and an infant nephew.
Her professional life was marked by her role as a Prep-Cook at Wheeling Hospital, where she devoted many years of service, becoming a valued member of the team.
Though her family circle has been touched by loss, Pamela leaves behind a wealth of treasured relationships. She is survived by her beloved friend Mary Jo Devault, her sister-in-law and dear friend Kathy Mayhugh, and dear friends Janet Carter and Helen McCloud. Pamela's heart was also warmed by the companionship of her devoted dogs, Beau and Brittany, who were constant sources of joy in her life.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists, located at 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m., officiated by Pastor Ken Staley. A luncheon will take place at the funeral home until 2 p.m.
In honor of her memory, contributions may be made to the Harrisville Methodist Church or the Harrison County Dog Pound, reflecting her generous spirit and love for animals.
Pamela will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the loving connections she nurtured throughout her life. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
