Pamela Jean Novaco (nee Smith), aged 67 of Kingston, NY, passed away on Thursday, Feb 3, 2022 at the Health Alliance Hospital-Broadway Campus, Kingston NY surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ on July 6, 1954, she was the daughter of Ruth Ann Leon (Saunders) and the Late Frederick M. Smith, and her Beloved Step-Father the Late Mario A Leon.
Pam loved spending time with her family and friends. She was easy to please, a cup of coffee (at any time) always brought a smile to her face. Pamela loved music, movies and all things fashion. She was always into the latest trends. A graduate of Lyndhurst High School class of 1972, Pamela spent her early years in Northern New Jersey before settling in the Hudson Valley of New York in the 1980's.
She is survived by her son, Damian L. Novaco, her daughter, Nicole C Novaco, her grandson, Sean Stopczynski, her brother, Glenn D. Smith and his wife Tris of Virginia, her sister, Karen Smith-Lichtenstein and her husband Ronald of Walpole, MA, her sister, Cathy Falls and her Husband Dennis and family of Cave Creek, Az, and her brother, Scott Smith and family of Phoenix, Az. Predeceased by her step-sister Linda Gallo and her husband Richard Gallo of Lyndhurst, NJ. Also survived by her nieces and nephews: Morgan Smith, Blair Lichtenstein, Megan Lichtenstein Ruiz, Mario Gallo, Richard Gallo, Laura Gallo Crane, Robert Gallo and their families.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to: nationalpancreasfoundation.org OR by simply paying it forward with a cup of coffee and a smile.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10am on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at St. Augustine RC Church, 55 Main Street, Highland, NY 12528. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, NY. A tribute for Pamela can be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.
