Patricia A. Dalessio

Dalessio, Patricia A. (nee Pirone), age 87 of Hawthorne, on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Born in Paterson, Pat had resided in Hawthorne since 1970. Pat had worked in the home healthcare field. She provided services as a home healthcare aide for hospice and other patients, most recently working for Senior Support Services in North Haledon. Pat was a long-time parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. church in Hawthorne, but recently began attending St. Anne's in Fair Lawn. Pat was a talented writer and poet. She had her book Carlton Hill, penned under the name of Eleanor Pat Denise, published in 2010, The Heir of the Eagle published in2011, and co-authored the book For the Love of David in 2010. Pat had also written music.
Patricia A. Dalessio was the beloved mother of Joseph Longo of Hawthorne, Carmel Volino and her husband Dave of Hawthorne, Nicholas Dalessio and his wife Dr. Lara Dalessio of Manalapan, and the late Patricia Vanderhook (2016). Dear grandmother of Aric and his wife Deanna, Gianna, Jeffrey, Alisha, Nicholas, Giovanni, Stefano, and Lyndsay. Great grandmother of Weston. Pat is also survived by her sisters Alice Kelly of Hawthorne, and Julie Savastano of Toms River, and her sister-in-law Dolores DeVito of Haledon.
Cremation will be private. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10:30am.
