Patricia Ann (Babcock) Fuchs, 91, passed away peacefully on August 16th at Essentia Health, Fargo. Pat was born December 3, 1931, to Sam and Alice Babcock of Glyndon, MN. She grew up in Glyndon and married her high school sweetheart, George W. Fuchs. She had a love of reading and a wicked sense of humor that we all loved. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Jane) Fuchs, Moorhead, MN, Kathy (Rod) Scheffler, Glyndon, MN, Gail (Joe) Lorenzen, Felton, MN, Melanie (Tom) Heuerman, Maple Grove, MN, Angela (Fred) Kuehl, Glyndon, MN, John (Cindy) Fuchs, Eden Prairie, MN, Joe (Kelli) Fuchs, Glyndon, MN, Jim Fuchs (Michelle Yesenko), Rollag, MN, Jeff Fuchs, Glyndon, MN; and sister, Joan Rochon, Marysville, WA. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Carin Sharp-Fuchs; 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; son, David; infant daughter, Barbara Joan; grandson, Thomas Fuchs; great-great grandson, Bentley Fuchs; parents, Sam and Alice Babcock, and sister, Margaret Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley, St Joseph’s Catholic Church or Dorothy Day Food Pantry.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22nd from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 pm at Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, 409 8th St. S, Moorhead, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 23rd at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 218 10th St. S, Moorhead, with burial following in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
