Patricia Ann Hunt, 80, a resident of Moberly, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at The Arbors at Ravenwood Terrace.
Patricia was born on December 25, 1943, in Moberly, the daughter of James William Johnson and Marjorie Ellen (Dameron) Johnson. On December 8, 1961, she married Richard “Dicky” Hunt, and he survives.
Patricia loved being outside tending to her flower garden as well as bird watching. Patricia worked many years for Toastmaster and then as the Education Registrar at the University of Missouri for many years. When Patricia wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her family, but especially cherished the moments she spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of over 62 years, she will be sadly missed and forever remembered by two sons, Timothy Hunt and wife Rhonda of Cairo and Matthew Hunt and wife Keli of Higbee; six grandchildren, Brittany Miller and husband Brad of League City, TX, Bridgett Hunt of Cairo, Brianna Harrison and husband Cooper of Cumming, GA, Jeremy Hunt of Dubuque, IA, Jared Hunt and fiancé Abreana Clarke of Dubuque, IA, Garrett Hunt of Higbee; one great granddaughter, Taylor Mackenzie Strain of League City, TX; two brothers, Ronald Johnson of Moberly and Jimmy Johnson of Macon; one sister, Julia Davidson of Oak Grove; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Hopson of Cairo and Judy Hunt of Fayette; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Pathway-Millard Funeral Chapel with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the services, Patricia will be laid to rest in the Huntsville City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1601 E. Broadway Suite 245, Columbia, MO 65201.
