Patricia M. (Geesey) Smith, 70, of Fremont passed away at her home on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was born in Fremont to Doris M. Geesey.
After graduating from Fremont Ross in 1971, Patricia went to Terra State Community College where she received a certificate in typing and secretarial studies. For many years, she worked at Kelsey Hayes as a laborer and at Fremont Memorial Hospital as a Housekeeper.
Patricia will be remembered as a strong woman who remained her authentic self at all times, good or bad.
Left to cherish their memories with her are her children, Lori Aldrich and Ishiaha Smith both of Fremont; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Lisa) Wood, Mark (Michelle) Wood and Jeff Wood.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Doris Viola Mae (Geesey) Boskovich; son, Arnold "Howie" Martin Jr.; daughter, Lennette Smith-Yzrael; former husband, Leonard Smith; granddaughter, Sonyia Hallock; and siblings, Ricky Geesey and Scott Wood.
Memorials in Honor of Patricia may be made to the care of the funeral home.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont with Funeral Services to begin at noon. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
