Paul Erwin Cote, 87 of Baltic, passed away on Monday, April 21st, 2025 at William W Backus Hospital. Paul was born in Norwich on December 18, 1937 to the late Wilfred J. Cote and Louise Erwin Cote.
Paul graduated from Norwich Technical High School with a trade in carpentry. He worked with F. W. Brown Construction Company and Carlin Contracting Company.
He married his wife, Theodora (Tedi) Niesczezewski on July 8, 1967. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tara Lee Braatz of Lisbon, and her two children, Dexter S. and Foster N. Braatz; a son, Marc Erwin Cote and his wife Stephanie, their daughter Kenadee, and a grand dog, Laney Mae of North Franklin; a sister in law Anne Cote of Nahant, MA and her children, Dana Cote of New York, Gerald Cote and Annette Cote, both of Nahant, MA; and nephew David Caulfield of Burke, Virginia.
Paul was predeceased by his brother Wilfred J. Cote and sister Alberta (Cote) Caulfield.
Paul enjoyed working in his workshop. His pride and joy was building our home and providing for his family. He was a big fan of WNBA Connecticut Sun, UCONN Huskies women's basketball and the New England Patriots.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 27th, from 1-3 pm at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Avenue, Norwich.
