I met Paul at Northwood Hills in 1998, playing golf with our friends whenever we could. We were both left handed and were very compatible in other ways, love of music, and sharing our laughter at our feeble attempts to master our golf ball with our "swings". He is my friend, saddened by his death, praying for him, his family, and all those who mourn his loss, but grateful for his life of service. May God bless him, until we meet again!

I was the pastor of the Mooringsport United Methodist Church from 2005 to 2010 and Paul played the organ there. He could play absolutely anything on the first try if he had the sheet music. He was great! He also handled the birthdays and anniversaries, leading the congregation in singing "Happy Birthday." I asked him why he didn´t play while we were singing, and he said it was because he didn´t have the sheet music for it and couldn´t play it by ear! I called him the "human jukebox"! He was fine man, loved by everyone he met. Never angry, always easygoing, easy to talk to, never condescending. Just a great guy. I know he will be missed. You did a good job, Bootsie. Paul turned out fine!

I remember Paul as always having a smile and a hug!! We grew up together in Mooringsport. He was full of love for his family and his Lord and it was evident for all to see. Prayers for his family and friends
