Paula Marie Supanich

Marquette, MI – Paula Marie Supanich, age 58, of Marquette, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at home, in the loving, comforting care of her family.
Paula was born April 9, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Frank and Barbara (Green) Capraro. Raised in Livonia, she was a 1983 graduate of Churchill High School. She continued her education by moving to Marquette where she attended Northern Michigan University. When not studying or in class, Paula was employed at various times with Ten O'Clock Charlie's, the Portside Inn, and managed Bubbles and Beaks. In 2000, Paula began working in the Maintenance Department at Northern Michigan University. On October 13, 2000, Paula was united in marriage to James Supanich, and together the couple made their home in Marquette. At home, Paula enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and taking care of her pets. She was a loving, trusting, and supportive wife and step-mom to her family.
Paula is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, James; step-sons, Jessiah Supanich and Evan Supanich both of Portland, OR; her brother, Ricardo Capraro; nephew, Cory Capraro, and niece, Ariana Capraro all of Howell. Paula was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Capraro.
The family has chosen to honor her memory privately.
