After high school she moved to Sioux City where she met Gerald "Jerry" Curry. They got married on October 14, 1946, and had three children Peggy, Terry "TC" and Lance. Pearl enjoyed being a home maker. She loved to cook and bake especially cinnamon rolls, Christmas cookies, cakes and pies.
