Peng Fong Mok

PENG FONG MOK
October 13, 1971 to June 19, 2022
Born in Singapore on October 13, 1971. Immigrated with his parents, Kelvin Kwong Loun and Rhonda Kha Heng Mok to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 1977.
Raised in Edmonton, Peng attended elementary schools, junior high and Harry Ainlay Senior High School in Edmonton where he graduated in 1989 with an International Baccalaureate Diploma as the school's valedictorian. He attended the University of Alberta and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. An outstanding student, he not only earned many awards and scholarships along the way, he also helped many of his fellow students in their studies.
He joined Cisco Systems in 2000, Videxio in 2014 and Pexip in 2018, where his work ethic and performance earned him the respect of his co-workers and customers everywhere.
Peng was an energetic and adventurous man who enjoyed people and travel. He was an endurance athlete who completed numerous marathons and triathlons worldwide and became an Ironman in 2008 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
One of Peng's favourite pastimes was being with his friends and enjoying a good meal. He loved life. Most of all, he loved his family and all his friends. Peng left the world much too soon. He will be greatly missed by all.
Peng is survived by:
His mother, Rhonda Kha Heng Reece and his beautiful cat, Starbuck.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kelvin Kwong Loun Mok, who passed away on January 29, 2013.
