Peter A. Cicchetti

Peter A. Cicchetti, 83, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was born on August 3, 1942, in Massachusetts. Peter is survived by his siblings Jean, Claire, and David, and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Grace, and his siblings Linda and Bobby.

Peter dedicated many years of his professional life to the telephone industry, where he worked as a Service Operator. Outside of work, he was a passionate semi-professional golfer and a devoted New England Patriots fan whose loyalty never wavered. He found comfort in the companionship of his beloved West Highland White Terriers and especially cherished long walks with them along the beach, watching the sea lions play nearby.

A deeply devoted father, Peter was the proud parent of his daughters, Tanja (Jay) and Lee (Matt), who were the center of his world. He was a loving grandfather to four grandchildren. His daughters are grateful for the care, support, and presence of Peter's former wife, Gerry, throughout their lives.

Peter will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. He found meaning in simple joys, deep loyalty, and the people he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
