She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Raymond Raines; and two sisters: Jackie Taliaferro and Janette Hayes.
She is survived by two sons: Gene Sooter and wife Erma, Darren Sooter and wife Kelsey; one daughter: Lacey Sooter; eleven grandchildren: Isaiah, Anthony, Adriana, Andrew, Kayden, Faith, Matt, Jessica, Daniel, Angel, and JoAnna; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at First Baptist Church at Tatum from 9:00 am until service time.

I'll always remember your vacations to Oklahoma and playing with you, Ray Bill, Jackie, Randa, Linda, Danny, David, Lois, Pat, Larry, Mary, Carl, Carol and me. We were a wild bunch of kids! Waded in the creek, walked the pipelines, enjoyed picnics in the park near the pond, played "keep away" with the basketball. Usually, Uncle Jack and Aunt Marie played with us and they always won. The remaining of our generation: Me, Linda, Larry and Mary loved you. Wish you could have visited me and Paul one more time. See you in Glory! --- Donna
