Pecos Funeral Home - PecosPhyllis June Brisbin, age 66, of Pecos, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at her home. She was born September 25, 1958, in Needles, California, a daughter of the late Jim and Virginia Brisbin of Sonora, Texas.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Brisbin and her parents, Jim and Virginia Brisbin.
Phyllis moved to Pecos in 1982 and is known throughout the community. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1977. She later attended college at Odessa Texas Permian Basin and later Sul Ross University. She graduated with two Bachelor of Science Degrees.
Phyllis is survived by her sisters, Cherry Knobloch of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kurt Knobloch, brother-in-law and Dorry Batchelder of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Terry Batchelder, brother-in-law, and Benjamin Batchelder, nephew and Catherine Batchelder, niece, and Jene Knobloch-Collins, Meagan Knobloch, James Knobloch, Theo, great-nephew and Cora, great-niece and Marjorie Tiemann, aunt. Not to be overlooked, her beloved cat, “LT”, short for Little Toot. She also leaves many family members as well as friends who will sadly miss her.
A memorial service will be held September 19 at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Pecos Funeral Home.
