Phyllis G Welch

Passed away August 29, 2007 in Sierra Vista, AZ. at the age of 60; she was born October 9, 1946 in Frederick OK to Marvin and Liddie Romine. Phyllis livedher early years and young adulthood in Southern CA, where she married and starteda family. She then Moved and settled in Flagstaff, AZ, Where she worked and raised a family of four boys on her own.

Phyllis LOVED Gardening and spending time outdoors; she was also an excellent cook and baker. There always seemed to be space in her home and heart for anyone that needed some tender loveing care.

Phyllis is survived by her endearing and loving mate Randy Welch of 26 years- 6 yearsof which they have been married and on their Honeymoon; her sons Ron W. Polder, Richard Polder, Doug Polder (wife Kellie), Joe Polder (wife Karen); four beaytiful grandchildren whowere the Applesof Grandmas Eye Ashlie Amber Snigglefritz Polder,MichaelPolidoro, Anderw Polder, Payton Polder; 3 sisters Dovie, June, And Norma. She was proceeded in death by her parents Marvin and Lydia Romine, her brother Wayne, and her sister Virene.

hi grandma...i miss you so much everything just isnt the same without you... i wanna call you all the time and talk to you or ask you questions ans it just makes me cry...its so hard sometimes and although i try to block out the pain sometimes its overbearing...i love you and think of you all the time...come into my dreams i love you!!!

Oh grandma I just don't know what to do I'm so sad and lost I sit up crying. So many nights I just wish you were here with me or I wish I would talk or are you! Everytime I'm in a car I look out at the clouds or stars and hope your up there looking back at me there is a song I listen to every night before I go to bed that reminds me of you. I just want you to come into my dreams and talk to me and help me through Thai my heart needs you! And though your always in my heart I still wanna talk and gig you! Gosh, I wish I could stop crying but I can't please grandma please come into my dreams and visit me I love you so very much!

its 1:30 in the morning...another sleepless night. Grandma my heart is just broken without you and I am lost. I Dont know what to do ...I need you ....I dream of you night after night and relive the worst day of my life. I wish all my dreams consisted of all our priceless memories we have but they dont ....all I dream about is the day I lost you. I just wish I was there to say goodbye...it breaks my heart more and more each day. you are my very best friend and I dont know what to do...I picture myself walking down that hall of the hospital, I remember the exact moment I found out you had passed, the exact road we were on, the exact way I was sitting and the instant fear of knowing it wasn't a dream...I remember how soft your hands were when I got there and the second time I came back with uncle doug when they were so cold. I dont know how to cope ...I know you would want me to be strong for you but I cant I try so hard but I cant... the other day I went to my dads and I found an old book that I used to draw and color in when I was little ..and I looked throught it and I found a bunch of drawings I did of the livingroom when we lived in christams tree and then I was flipping through it some more and I saw a picture that I had drawn of you ...you were wearing a pretty dress with lots of hearts and flowers and right above the top it said My grandma...and it just made me cry because I miss you so much. also I wanted to tell you I made you a beautiful candle I decorated your grave for christmas and afterwards I plan to give it to grandpa so he can keep it safe ...I love you grandma and I really cant believe you are gone! I love you so much!

Grandma, I miss you so much... i cant take this i think about you all the time i just hope you know how much i love you!! i stay up late a lot of times just thinking about all our trips and the time we spent. i just cant do this! you mean the world to me and i just wish you were here with me. i visit it you all the time and its hard to stand there knowing your only a few feet underneathe me! grandpa loves and misses you something terrible but who can blame him you were the sweetest person to ever grace this earth! i can say how much i really just cant take this my heart hurts and i just hate it! i hate not being able to call you, not being able to see you or hear your voice it just hurts so bad! i love you grandma and i count the days util i can see you again!

Grandma ....right now I can't find any words to express the way I feel, & how much I miss you, but I wanted to let you know that I am here visiting this site A LOT, I come to see you a lot too, grandpa says you like Lilies so I plan to bring you some. usually I bring roses but I am going to find some really nice ones to bring.
I want you to know that not a second goes by when I don't think of you & I will write more ... I just need time to gather words from my thoughts. Right now I am confused and nothing I write to you right now can even come close to what I am really trying to say...i just need time.
I love you so much, you are my best friend and I cant help but feel that without you my heart is truly broken, I know you will always be with me ...but to not hear your voice everyday breaks my heart... I love you and miss you so much

Phyllis was a very special gal with a beautiful heart, smile, and her laughter throughout the house always made a person feel welcome and comfortable. Phyllis and Randy were so wonderful good for my father in law Ed after Anna died. Around Phyllis you never felt alone. The first time I met Phyllis and Randy they were playing 500 Rummy at Ed's house and in my entire life I had never seen a family have so much fun.
