Rafael Angel Duboué

Rafael Angel Duboué, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Metairie, Louisiana at the age of 66. Born on March 1, 1959, in Holguin, Cuba, Rafael brought joy and love to all those around him throughout his life.

Rafael is survived by his devoted wife, Eslivia Duboué; his daughters, Gabriella Duboué and Morgan Fernandez; and his cherished granddaughter, Alyssa Victoria Duboué. He was predeceased by his son, Sergio Duboué. Rafael was the son of the late Juan Rogelio Duboué and Dionisia (Justina) Duboué. He was a loving brother to Rogelio and Rolando Duboué and a caring uncle to Jaclyn, Aldo, Erik, Elizabeth, Rebecca Ford, Juan, and Sarah Sophia Duboué.

Rafael, a determined and hardworking individual, founded his own business, Regal Auto Repair, in New Orleans, which he owned and operated for nearly four decades. Rafael's contributions to his community extended beyond his business, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In addition to his professional achievements, Rafael had a passion for carpentry and travel. Rafael's love for life and his community was evident in everything he did.

Rafael's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. 70001 on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with a Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Lake Lawn Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La. 70124
