Randall Howard gill age 66 of mentor formally Akron/ Copley. Passed away from illness February 26th 2025 with his daughter by his side. Before he was sick Randy was unstoppable force of nature. He was always fishing, hunting, going on random hikes or road trips, fairs, he loved nature and family his kids and grandkids meant the world to him. He would do Sunday breakfast with Papa .He coached softball in Firestone park for years. He had a computer store for a while in Kenmore. Randy also was a logistics manager last at accel group before his illness. The last few year he was really sick and we are grateful to his girlfriend Cathy Jones for taking him to all his appointments and loving him and helping him in his last years.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mildred Gill. His brother Richard gill and his sister Nancy Paul. He is survived by his former wife mother of his children Paula gill his son Dan gill and his daughter Dolores gill and his four grandchildren JP Gill, Mason Gill, Xavier Mills, and Elizabeth Mills all of Akron. And his brother Robert ( Barbara) Gill of Copley.
His celebration of life will be held at the American legion Firestone memorial post 449 located at 1090 Kenmore Blvd Akron OH 44313 on March 16th 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
