Randy R. Green, age 62, of Avon Lake, Ohio passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born February 1, 1963 in Riverhead, New York to parents Mick and Kathy (nee Scheel) Green.

Randy grew up in Avon Lake and was a 1981 graduate of Avon Lake High School. Spending all his school years in Avon Lake led to lasting friendships that remained throughout his life. Following graduation and a few early short-term jobs, Randy landed at Bonnie Bell for several years and eventually at PolyOne. He stayed at PolyOne for about 30 years, moving up through the company to Quality Supervisor, and retiring shortly after changing their name to Avient. Randy enjoyed cars, especially Mustangs, and had a collection of NASCAR and Mustang ornaments for the Christmas tree. Family gatherings were always filled with card games led by Randy. Recently he found joy sitting outside and watching the birds in his yard

Randy is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Sandy Green; loving daughter Shelby (Chaning) Rhodes; Sandy's son, Eric Price; cherished grandchildren Bryce, Ashton, Callie, and Lilly; parents Kathy Szekely and Mick (Ellen) Green; dear uncle and second dad Bob Winchester; brothers Rich (Heather) Green, and Robbie Green; and nephews Brad (Caitlyn) Green, Nick (Shayla) Green, and Jordan Green. He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Green; and aunts Laurie Scheel, and Chris Winchester.
