Randy Hull, 66, died Sunday, September 15, 2024. Visitation will be 5 PM until 7 PM Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 AM Friday at Midway Baptist Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.
Randy was born on February 7, 1958 in Big Spring. He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. He married Barbara Denton on June 9, 1983. She preceded him in death on December 22, 2011. He married Nancy Darnell on January 18, 2020.
Randy graduated from B.S.H.S, attended Howard College and Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater. He worked with family in Giant Food, later owned it with his brothers. His work was valued at Johansen's Nursery & Landscaping for the last 31 years. He loved woodworking, leather work, & fixing anything, but most of all kids, especially his grandkids.
Randy is survived by his wife: Nancy Hull of Big Spring; 4 children: Cindy Friday (Reggie) of Midland, Wyvett Denton of Huntsville, AL, Rex Denton of Midland, & Daniel Denton (Kari) of Big Spring; 3 step-children: Andy Robinson (Jenn) of Abilene, Kati Harper of Snyder, & Colton Harper of Bridgeport, TX; mother: LaVerne Hull Dean of Big Spring; 1 sister: Terri Johansen (Carl) of Big Spring; 2 brothers: Rusty Hull (Debra) of Big Spring, & Gary Hull (Paulla) of Lubbock; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his father: Pete Hull; 2 daughters: Teresa Ann Denton & Debbie Bynum; and 1 nephew: Samuel Hull; grandparents: Earl & Floralee Hull and Elmer & Thelma Yarbrough.
Pallbearers will be Chip Corgill, Jason Hull, Nathan Johansen, Joe Holguin, Kaleb Denton, Kolby Denton, A.J. Gutierrez, Tim Thomas, & Mason Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Hull, Gary Kelley, Ernie Rodriguez, & T.C. Lopez.
