Ray McCartney, 73, of Milton passed away on July 15, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1952 in Charleston, SC to Walter McCartney and Norma Stewart.
Ray graduated from Escambia High School in 1972. He later began working at ESP in 1974 and retired after 35 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and drinking beer!!
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McCartney; mom, Norma Kelly; dad, Walter McCartney; brother, Walter; sister, Glenda Wynn; and stepfather, Buddy Kelly.
Survivors include brothers: John, Chuck, David, and Scott; children, Jason and Jeremy; stepchildren, Sean Byrd and Nicole Ard; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
