Raymond Cisneros, Jr., age 63, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Lubbock. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 13, 2024 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
Raymond was born on December 11, 1960, in San Juan, Texas to Raymond and Olga (Vasquez) Cisneros. He farmed most of his life and enjoyed fishing, playing in the game rooms, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Raymond is survived by one daughter, Roxan and Jaime Hernandez of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Adriana Alcozer and Kenon, Adrian Torres, Raymond Cisneros IV, Zaiden Cisneros, and Jaydan Cisneros; two great grandchildren, Zedekiah and Carter Uddley; one brother, Roy and Delia Cisneros of Plainview; four sisters, Rachel and Daniel Zavala of Plainview, Nora Ocanas of Plainview, Rosalinda Trevino of Brownsville, and Priscilla and Lauro Cantu of Brownsville; and son-in-law and best friend, Ruben Torres, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by one son, Raymond Cisneros, III; both parents; and one brother, Rene Cisneros.
