Raymond Craig Obituary Raymond A. Craig was born on December 4, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the parents of David Craig and Alzonia Dickerson.
Raymond was the third youngest of 13 siblings, eight boys, six girls; Greed, Edward, Larry, Donald, James, Charles, David, Juanita, Elizabeth, Jeanette, Barbara Jean, and Wilma.
Raymond was baptized at an early age where he attended West Parkview Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir.
Later in life, he attended Crispus Attucks High School where he participated in basketball, softball, and track and field. Raymond loved watching sports, especially basketball and football. He loved watching his westerns and spending time with family and his grandchildren.
In his early life, he met his longtime, sweetheart, Vivian (Bunny) Render, and to that relationship, two children were born: Carmen and Antoine Craig.
Raymond was employed for the gas company, water company, and Ford Motor company, where he worked for many years.
Raymond married on July 19, 1980, to Mary Lou Craig, to their union was born Derek Craig and Raymond inherited two stepsons: Ralph and Terrance.
Raymond was the father of four children and was proceeded in death by his sons; Antoine and Derek, as well as his parents; David Craig and Alzonia Dickerson-Craig, brothers; James, Greed, Edward, Larry, David, Charles, and Donald, sisters; Juanita and Jeanette.
Raymond leaves cherishing memories with his wife; Mary Lou Craig, daughter; Carmen Beard-Seals and son-in-law; Artry Seals, son; Raymond Craig Jr., sisters; Wilma Walker, Elizabeth Clark, Barbara Jean Hampton, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
