Dr. Smith, the first time we met was at one of your legendary New Year's Eve parties at your Riverside Drive home. I was one of several Springhillians that Mary had invited. You always took pride in your Alma mater. In fact, you were looking over my collection of antique Spring Hill College postcards the last time I saw you. Your head nods and grins were signs of nostalgic appreciation. A.M.D.G., good doctor.
