Raymond A. Williams 80 of Brewton, Al passed away March 20,2025 at his home. Formally of Pensacola, Fl, Raymond was a retired firefighter from Pensacola Naval Air station as well as Retired from the US Coastguard.
Raymond was such a special man who loved his family and church. Ray was an active member of First Baptist Church of East Brewton Alabama. Ray was a member of the men's Sunday school class as well as the church choir. Ray took great pride in singing in the choir. He greatly enjoyed music and listening to his wife play the piano.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Helen Williams of Pensacola, Fl.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maurice Williams, two daughters, Stephanie ( Russell) Scott, Daphne (John) Kleiner of Brewton, four grandchildren, Tiffany (Lee) Knowles, Jacob (Kelsey) Scott of Brewton, Zachery Gardner of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Justin(Catherine) Gardner of New Orleans, Louisiana, 9 great-grandchildren.
Brothers John (Doreen) Williams of Georgia, Evan (Ingrid) Williams of Virginia, One Sister, Denise (Kevin) Langhan of Pensacola and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10am Wednesday March 26, 2025 at First Baptist Church in East Brewton, Al with Rev, Macon Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 25,2025 from 5-7pm.
Family only Interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at Pensacola Naval Air station, Pensacola Florida, Friday March 28, 2025 with WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME OF BREWTON, ALABAMA DIRECTING.
Pallbearers are Jacob Scott, Zachery Gardner, Justin Gardner, Russell Scott, Evan Williams and Bill Herrington. Honors pall bearers are Thomas Scott, Neil Gardner, and Gage Scott.
