Rebecca "Beckie" Louise Moore of St. Peters, MO passed away peacefully at the young age of 72 on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
In life, if you knew her, you loved her. From her early years in life, she shined as Baby Beckie to her 2 older siblings and Daughter of Clarksburg's Harvest Moon Queen. She lived life fully from being the Majorette Baton Twirler at Washington Irving High School, Clarksburg's Strawberry Festival Princess and nursing student at Fairmont College where she realized she did not like blood and has 1 semester remaining of her nursing degree.
Her passion in life was being a mother and caretaker. Through her life she was an in home daycare provider to infants for over 20 years.
As a mother she used her inherited creativity from her mother and has passed those talents along to her daughters. She had a great sense of humor that taught us to don't sweat the small stuff and the best things in life aren't things. With those life lessons, we will all carry those sentiments forward with her memories.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, William Moore, older siblings, William (Billy) Brookover and Susie (John) Hart, Daughters, Jennifer (Moore) Perrey, Stephanie (Moore) Hagan, Brooke (Moore) Mitchell, Grandchildren, Alex (Ricki) Berry, Alexa (Erik) Lipka, Addison, Andrew, Kenzie, Liam, Trevor, Gabriel and Hudson, Great Grandmother to Brayden, Ally Mae, Alaia, Kendall and loving Aunt, Niece, cousin and friend to many.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, William & Helen Brookover of Clarksburg, WV, loving Grandson, Giovanni Michael and Angel Baby Hagan.
A Memorial Service will take place on October 6. 2023 from 3-6pm at Broemmelsiek Park visitors center, 1795 Highway DD, Defiance, MO, 63341.
Celebration of Life in Clarksburg, West Virginia as her final resting place.
In memory, the family requests that you smile today. Share a memory with someone you lost touch with and have a good laugh.
