Rebecca Jane "Becky" Sherman

Rebecca "Becky" Jane Sherman, 56, of Marion, passed away at 3:50 am on Monday, August 19, 2024, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, April 16, 1968, to Richard and Betty (Hawkins) Bridenthal.
Becky graduated from Marion High School and Central Florida Community College. She was a nurse practitioner throughout her career.
Becky enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to yard sales, and collecting antiques. She liked gardening, especially growing her own vegetables. Becky was a busybody and always had work to do. She had a big heart and always went out of her way to help the people in her life.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Sherman of Marion; sons, Marcus Sherman of Marion and Demetree (Stacie) Sherman of Alachua, FL; grandsons, Connor Sherman, Collin Sherman, and Grayson Sherman; granddaughters, Cali Sherman, Lily Sherman, Paisely Sherman, and Avery Sherman; sister, Pheobe Bridenthal; brothers, Rick Bridenthal, Marvin Yeakle, and Jeff Duncan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and her beloved dog, Willy Nelson Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Bridenthal; mother, Betty (Hawkins) Bridenthal; and brothers, Jimmy Duncan and Mark Duncan.
The family will have a private celebration of Becky's life at a later date.
