Obituary of Regina Irene Zuniga
Regina Irene Zuniga, 53, passed away on February 9, 2025, in North Richland Hills, Texas.
She was born on February 22, 1971, in Madrid, Spain to parents Roland Rex Fiedler, Jr. and Diana Jean Fox Fiedler. Later she moved back to the states and graduated from Haltom High School in 1989.
Regina was a shining light in the lives of everyone she met, always taking the time to make others feel valued and cherished. Her love for music was undeniable, and she found joy in attending concerts, immersing herself in the rhythms and melodies that brought her so much happiness.
Regina is survived by her husband, Michael Markum; daughters, Angelina Irene Zuniga and Andria Michelle Fiedler; son, Jonathan "Cole" Mitchell; grandchildren, Ivan Paul Ramirez, Alonzo D'Angelo Rayos, Xavier Alexander Rayos, Kyler Cole Mitchell; nieces, Ciera Ashely Fiedler, Erica Lorene Fiedler; nephews, Trey Matthew Fiedler, Roland "Anthony" Fiedler; cousins, Laura Lynn Stevens, Matthew "Matt" Scott Young.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roland Fiedler, Virginia Fiedler; Floyd "Buster" Wilburn Fox, Sr., Billie Oleta Masters Fox; parents, Roland "Rex" Fiedler, Sr., Diana Jean Fox Fiedler; brother, Roland "JR" Rex Fiedler, Jr., daughter, Alexandria "Alex" Renee Zuniga; aunt, Lily "Sheri" Sherilyn Fox Stevens; uncle, Floyd "Buddy" Wilburn Fox, Jr.; and cousin, Robert "Scott" Stevens.
Visitation at 11:00 a.m with Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76114.
