Reid Beckwith

Reid Vincent Beckwith passed away unexpectedly in his home on October 2, 2025. He was 11 years old. Born August 1, 2014 to David and Angie Beckwith. He also leaves behind 2 brothers, Bellamy (4) and Kayce (2); grandpa, Jesse (Oompa) Beckwith; grandma, Linda Mendoza; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Doris Beckwith. His uncle Daniel will always hold an extra special place in Reid's heart.

Reid loved attending school at Riverside Elementary where he was in the 6th grade. The teachers, staff and bus drivers will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. Reid loved swimming so much that he was a fish out of water. Reid had a smile that could light up a room. Reid was always willing to help anyone, always showing up with his tool bag ready to work especially with his Dad and Oompa. He was always helping his brothers, mostly to get into trouble. He loved camping, hunting fishing, boating and anything involving outdoor activities.

Services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in South Jordan, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, October 7th from 6-8 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 11am with a viewing before 10-10:45am and a light Reception to follow after services.
